5 Easy Ways to use Color in Your Winter Wardrobe

I’m sharing 5 simple ways to give your winter wardrobe some much needed pops of color! This is also a great way to transition your looks over to Spring. See my tips below and let me know if you’ve tried any of these yet!

1. Bold Shoes with a pop of color

The perfect and easiest way to add a quick pop of color to a chic all black look or to brighten up your neutral look is with a pair of bold shoes that offer up that fun burst of color. I’m wearing these insanely cute bright yellow crocodile patterned mules from River Island.

2.Colorful accessories ( hats, belts, etc.)

Here’s another quick and easy solution to throw in a little added color. I brightened up my black sweater and black tights with a simple pink belt.

I love the idea of adding a beret or a newsboy cap with some color to your look as well and I’ve linked some of my favorite ones below:

3. A Colorful Jacket

There are so many great faux fur jackets out there that offer up a gorgeous color. I’m also wearing this boucle long trench in this gorgeous and fun green hue. I felt so ready for spring in this! Here’s some of my fave colorful furs out there right now:

4. Use color blocking

Color blocking is such a great and simple technique.

One of my favorite color combos that’s both bright, fun and makes a statement are red and purple. Simple add a red blazer or jacket with a purple turtle neck underneath.

How about a slip dress with a complimentary colored sweatshirt or sweater underneath. Another easy technique!

5. A colorful statement bag

Definitely a fun way to color and a fun way to get use out of those “summer bags” that you have in green, yellow, pink etc. Why not pair them with a darker look for a good pop of color/ way to get more usage out of your fave bags
