The Rookwood Inn, a Charming BNB in The Berkshires

A couple of weekends ago, Ben and I had the opportunity to visit The Berkshires and stay in the most romantic and charming Victorian styled bed and breakfast. This particular place really caught my attention mostly because of the story surrounding the property and the Inn Keeper, Amy Lindner-Lesser. I was able to have an interview with Amy about some of the exciting questions I had after my stay! Stay turned to hear more about that later on!

Activity Guide: 48 hours in The Berkshires

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take the most relaxing and scenic-filled a little over 2-day trip to The Berkshires! Believe it or not, this was my very first time visiting.  I can’t believe it because it’s such a short drive from the city and easy weekend get-away. Living in the city, I feel so blessed that I have the opportunity to experience all seasons and escaping to the blissful and breath-taking views and smells of nature.

Desert Days

Recapping my favorite shoot to date! I had the opportunity to shoot with Sharlene, from Sharlene Photography a couple of weeks ago while I was visiting Las Vegas. We headed out to Calico Basin which is a nice little taste of the Redrocks that is the cutest little spot for hiking, picnicking and of course photo shoots! After this shoot I am itching to go back and explore more of the west coast – I absolutely loved it there and cannot wait to be back! Shout-out to Sharlene for being so accommodating and making this so much fun for me (I couldn’t stop telling her how lucky she was to see palm trees everyday & live near the desert, ha ha ).

Mount Airy Casino Resort in the Poconos

Before our weekend get-away to the Mount Airy Casino Resort  in the Poconos, my boyfriend and I wanted to find the perfect place that had plenty of entertaining activities to do inside (the temp. was in the low 20’s all weekend and there was no snow for outdoor activities!), as well as a place to do some relaxing and recharge our batteries before the chaos that is NYFW!
If you’re looking for a good NYC weekend-get-a-away, this is the perfect spot! The drive was a little over 2 hours (with some traffic). I spent plenty of time researching the perfect place that would offer everything we were looking for when I stumbled upon this resort. My first attraction to it was the fact that it had so many rave reviews (average is a 4.4/5 on any travel site!). They are also one of two properties in Pennsylvania awarded as a AAA 4 Diamond Casino Resort! I’m super picky about reviews and overall cleanliness of the room and facilities. Most resorts in the Poconos are very outdated and haven’t been updated in years. Although it’s part of the charm, it’s really nice when you find a place that’s so modern and well taken care of.
